WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA??????? You should get on that. Probably the most adult/kind of dark story of the Miyazaki Ghibli films, that I have seen. Haven't seen them all though.

I've seen them all but Mononoke I believe. Though I think it might be, with exception to their massive amounts of works on End of Evangelion and Grave of the Fireflies, one of the darkest things Ghibli's done period

Did not know they did any work on Evangelion. I haven't seen any of the stuff besides the series. Grave of the Fireflies I haven't seen either, mostly because the end was spoiled for me, and I know I will cry. I don't want to cry. But yeah, definitely dark. It was the first one I had seen, then the next I saw was My Neighbor Totoro. Both were awesome, and I knew not to expect a specific type of anime from them.

Grave of the Fireflies will change your opinions on things. I consider it to be one of the best movies of all time! However you will cry. Note that I didn't say maybe.
